In just over a month, the sci-fi thriller will be released in theaters The Creator from the director Gareth Edwardsknown for feature films such as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), y Godzilla (2014), and studios 20th Century Studios, New Regency and Entertainment One.
The marketing campaign continues with the release of a new official poster for the film whose plot recounts the horrors of artificial intelligence, a topic that suffice to say is currently causing a lot of controversy in the world of entertainment.
The studio will release it on the big screen on September 29, 2023,
John David Washington (Tenet, BlacKkKlansman, Amsterdam) stars in the story as someone who could save the world by making a great sacrifice. The rest of the cast is made up of Gemma Chan (Eternals, Don’t Worry Darling), Ken Watanabe (Inception), Sturgill Simpson (Dog), Madeleine Yuna Voylesy Allison Janney (I, Tonya, Bombshell).
In the midst of a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence, Joshua (Washington), a hardened ex-special forces agent whose wife (Chan) goes missing, is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive advanced AI architect who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end war…and humanity itself.
“Joshua and his team of elite agents travel behind enemy lines, into the dark heart of AI-occupied territory… only to discover that the doomsday weapon he has been ordered to destroy is an AI in the form of toddler”.
The script was written by Edwards y Chris Weitz (About a Boy, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), from Edwards’ original story.
