Hatifnats «Hatifnats EP» – I don't know if anyone still remembers the Polish shoegaze band Hatifnats, which I often recommended here in the blog years ago. Their concert in Hamburg's Astra Stube was also legendary. Now, quite unexpectedly for me, they are back again with a new EP, on which the sound follows previous sounds.
Gambit «long sleep» – of course a Japanese band shouldn't be missed today – Gambit are an extremely promising young trio that has now shrunk to a duo. Their sound can be described in the broadest sense as indie rock, which is primarily characterized by great melodies and beautiful singing. The new single is great, a highlight of 2024 for me.
