This herb butter provides a simple, flavorful, and aromatic ingredient.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh herbs

  • 100 g unsalted butter

Directions

  • Finely chop the herbs using scissors or a knife.
  • Place the butter, at room temperature, between sheets of plastic wrap. Gently press it down and flatten it with a rolling pin or a glass.
  • Remove the top layer of plastic wrap, sprinkle the chopped herbs evenly over the butter, and spread them well.
  • Roll the butter up like a jelly roll, using the plastic wrap to help shape and compress it.
  • Press the butter firmly and twist the ends of the plastic wrap to seal it tightly.
  • Refrigerate or freeze the butter if you are not using it immediately.
  • Once the herb butter is firm, it is ready to serve.
