Some of you will already have noticed: The Inch by Inch record shop has moved. Sebastian from our new Hey Hey podcast visited him with his microphone.
Philipp, alias Drunkenstein, has been running the Inch by Inch record shop in Lindenau for four years. As a small shop selling mostly used vinyl and local releases, it quickly built a following. At the same time, Philipp runs a fairly large Discogs shop and is closely linked to the Inch by Inch sales department.
Since July 2022, the record shop has been one corner away – at Merseburger Straße 95. With more space and better embedded in neighboring late night shops, bars and other shops.
Sebastian, our Hey Hey podcast host, was in the new store and talked to Philipp about why he moved, what challenges he had to face in the first Corona period and what he plans to do at the new location. You can now hear the talk here:
