Try making homemade pastry dough and guarantee an easy, tasty snack with affordable ingredients!


  • 2 cups unbleached wheat flour (unleavened)

  • 1 cup of water (warm)

  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • Add the wheat flour, oil, salt, white vinegar and warm water little by little in a bowl. 
    Mix very well with your hands, then transfer to a smooth, clean and floured surface. 
    Knead the dough very well, make a ball and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into two parts and roll each one as thin as possible with a rolling pin. 
    Then cut the masses into a square shape, or another shape of your choice.
  • Place the stuffing of your choice on one side of the dough and rub a little water around the edges to close the pastry and prevent it from opening when frying. 
    Then lightly press the edges of the pastry with a fork.
  • Preheat a frying pan with oil over high heat and place the pastel when the oil is hot. 
    Fry both sides until the pastry is lightly golden, remove with a slotted spoon, transfer to a plate lined with paper towel and the pastry recipe is ready.
