The life of the iconic Whitney Houston will hit the big screen ten years after his unfortunate death, with the biopic I Wanna Dance With Somebody from the director Kasi Lemmons (Harriet, Eve’s Bayou, Black Nativity), and screenplay for the Oscar nominee, Anthony McCarten (Darkest Hour, The Two Popes, The Theory of Everything, Bohemian Rhapsody), con Sony Pictures as your global distributor.
The plot will take the audience to relive some of Houston’s most legendary and tragic moments, in front of and behind the public eye, with Naomi Ackie in a leading role. The actress has been part of productions such as the series The End of the F***ing World, Master of Noneand movies like Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, The Scoreand the next one to be released Pussy Island.
