‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ reveals full trailer and official poster – Cine3.com

Paramount Pictures and Walt Disney Motion Pictures continue with engines ignited for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (entitled Indiana Jones and the call of fate in our market), launching the first full trailer and promotional poster.

The preview, which you find at the end of the note, gives us a better look at what is to come in the fifth installment of the saga. Indiana Jonesthe dangers, and the new allies of our beloved Indy.

The film is scheduled to celebrate its world premiere at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, the 76th edition of which will take place from May 16 to 27, 2023.

Entering fully into the director’s film James Mangold (Ford vs Ferrari, Logan), this marks the return of Harrison Ford as the world’s most famous archaeologist, and what’s more, it will supposedly mark the farewell of one of its most popular characters.

• Ford has portrayed the character four times, in Raiders of the Lost Ark(1981), Temple of Doom (1984), The Last Crusade (1989), y The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), all of them directed by Steven Spielbergwho this time passes the baton to Mangold, staying on as executive producer alongside George Lucas; Frank Marshall, Kathleen Kennedyy Simon Emanuel They are the producers.

The feature film uses technology to rejuvenate Ford’s character in the opening sequence, as this will take us back in time to the year 1944, eight years after the setting of Raiders of the Lost Ark. After the opening sequence, the plot will place us in the year 1969, in the present time of Indy.

Ford is accompanied in the cast by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Mads Mikkelsen (Another Round), Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Shaunette Renée Wilson (Black Panther), Thomas Krestschmann (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Antonio Banderas (pain and glory), the veteran of the franchise, John Rhys-Davies (Raiders of the Lost Ark), y Toby Jones (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom).

The script is written by Jez Butterworth, John-Henry Butterworth y Mangold. John Williamscomposer of the soundtrack of the franchise, composes the soundtrack of this new installment.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will be released in theaters on June 30, 2023.
