Kayoko Yoshizawa «Gummy» – it’s time again to introduce one of the many very good Japanese singers who are far too unknown outside of Japan. Kayoko Yoshizawa has been active for several years and has released a number of albums. Stylistically, it’s pretty broad by Western standards (but that’s pretty normal for Japanese musicians). It has pop on offer, but also a lot of jazz or, as with this first song, even scratchy indie guitars.

The Cheap Thrills «Reborn» – This quartet from Liverpool, which has been releasing music for over 10 years, offers classic British indie rock/pop.
