The local festival for sound art and experimental music, ZiXP for short, starts this Friday. 17 musicians and sound artists perform in five locations in the East over three days – in large ensembles as well as in exhibitions and small concerts.
Today we start with the intro concert with strings, voices, percussion, wind instruments and electronics in the ZiMMT. Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow there will be sound exhibitions from 2-5 p.m., at 6 p.m. several smaller mix&match events – and at 9 p.m. the big evening ensemble concerts will take place in the ZiMMT.
