The Balance Festival is back – a touch smaller this year, but no less exciting. In cooperation with the international platform Desculonizatión and Ukrainian artists and musicians, Balance is artistically and musically close to the present.
A panel with Maya Baklanova and Mariana Berezovksa will start at 6 p.m., both of whom are shaping the Ukrainian cultural scene and will provide insights and perspectives on cultural work in the current extremely difficult situation and the worldwide consequences of colonial history. From midnight the Balance Club Night will take place – with Ukrainian and Leipzig musicians. Also Kebra – the Desculonizatión founder – is back with her super energetic and political genre clash.
