The special one Gaga Chromatica Ball was filmed in front of a Sold-out crowd of 52,000 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, CA., in September 2022 and features the Grammy and Oscar-winning artist performing hits like Bad Romance, Just Dance, Poker Face, Born This Way, Shallow, Rain On Me, Stupid Loveand many others.
Of note, the concert took place a few months after the pandemic began to subside and celebrated an album that was released in the summer of 2020: a dance party album when there were few parties and most of the dancing was done at home.
Nina Rosenstein, HBO's VP of programming, late night and specials, said in a press release:
“Lady Gaga is a total giant. She's a once-in-a-lifetime artist who never stops, and 'Gaga Chromatica Ball' showcases her endless list of talents. “We are delighted to partner with her once again for this impressive special concert.”
Regarding the upcoming launch of the special concert on HBO, Gaga shared the following words with all her “little monsters” on her social networks:
