Love Shop «The student van runs» – the Danish band Love Shop has been a permanent fixture on my blog for a few years now. With great regularity they deliver wonderful new albums that always end up high in my charts. Even though the band has been around since the 90s, they still sound fresh and offer a sound that we used to know from Kent – melancholic, atmospheric, melodic and driving. Their new work “Blues Europa” is also really successful and, in my opinion, perhaps their best record since their comeback this millennium.
SOMOH «A Plan To Get Home» – the great single by British singer Sophia Mohan aka SOMOH is absolutely fitting. Beautifully scratchy guitars meet an autumnal mood.
