LOW-RES «Kitchen» – every now and then a real pearl appears in the flood of promotional emails that reach me, and this time finally a new band from Sweden again – LOW-RES is the name of the duo that has just released their second album «Därför» . Pretty great music with wave, indie, krautrock, electronic elements, which will certainly have a say in my top 20 at the end of the year. Extremely entertaining, and the guest singers round off the sound perfectly.
Bees In A Bottle «Jealous Mistress» – and another hit from the mail folder – a US duo that dedicates itself more to folky sounds and creates beautiful atmospheres. The new album «The Sun Left And Took The Moon With It» has just been released.
