Paramount Pictures continues with the mission activated for the marketing campaign of one of the most anticipated films of the summer: Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Ithe new chapter of the action saga, Mission: Impossiblestarring and produced by Tom Cruisewith script and direction by Christopher McQuarrie.

The most recent is a new image look at Cruise and Rebecca Ferguson, who is back playing Ilsa Faust. The actress debuted in the franchise with the fifth chapter, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015), returning in subsequent installments, Fallout (2018), y Dead Reckoning Part Ithe seventh and penultimate installment of Mission Impossible.

McQuarrie tells EW how the process of some of the action sequences of the most recent sequel was:

“At the beginning of this movie, I said to Tom, ‘What do you want to do?’ He said, ‘I want to ride a motorcycle off a cliff. What do you want to do?’ And I said, ‘I want to wreck a train.’ We’re huge fans of Buster Keaton, John Frankenheimer, David Lean, all these filmmakers who at one point or another had a fabulous train accident. I thought, I’ve earned it, I want to wreck one too “.

Between the explosive action sequences, Dead Reckoning it will feature a chase in a Fiat 500, a Ferguson swordfight in a desert gunfight, THAT sequence of Cruise riding a motorcycle off a cliff, THAT another sequence of Cruise hanging from the wing of a WWII biplane while the plane plummeting, Cruise taking on the villain on top of a REAL speeding steam train, and much more.

Dead Reckoning has been divided by Paramount into two parts. The first of them has its launch set in theaters on July 14, 2023while the second part will mark the conclusion of the franchise with its theatrical release on June 28, 2024.

The cast is led by Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Rebecca reprising her role as Ilsa Faust, Simon Pegg Coming back as Benji Ving Rhames Coming back as Luther Vanessa Kirby returning as White Widow, Henry Czerny returning as Eugene Kittridge for the first time since the original film, and new additions as Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter), Shea Whigham (American Hustle) y Pom Klementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy), y Morales essay in role as the villain.
