Ingredients
2 tablespoons of oil
1/2 onion finely chopped
1 medium carrot, finely chopped
1 cup fresh peas (I used frozen)
2 cups of water
1 and 1/2 cup Moroccan couscous
salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
green smell to taste
About 1 lemon squeezed (add little by little according to your taste)
Directions
- In a pan, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil;
- Add 1/2 chopped onion;
- Cook until translucent;
- Add 1 medium chopped carrot;
- Add 1 cup of peas;
- Add salt and pepper;
- Mix and sauté;
- Add 2 cups of water;
- Cover and let it boil;
- In another container, add 1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of Moroccan couscous;
- Add salt and pepper;
- Mix;
- When the liquids in the pan start to boil, transfer them to the Moroccan couscous;
- Mix;
- Cover and let rest for 5 minutes;
- Loosen the grains with a fork;
- Add the juice of 1 lemon;
- Mix;
- Add green smell;
- Your Moroccan couscous is ready!
