Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of oil

  • 1/2 onion finely chopped

  • 1 medium carrot, finely chopped

  • 1 cup fresh peas (I used frozen)

  • 2 cups of water

  • 1 and 1/2 cup Moroccan couscous

  • salt to taste

  • Black pepper to taste

  • green smell to taste

  • About 1 lemon squeezed (add little by little according to your taste)

Directions

  • In a pan, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil;
  • Add 1/2 chopped onion;
  • Cook until translucent;
  • Add 1 medium chopped carrot;
  • Add 1 cup of peas;
  • Add salt and pepper;
  • Mix and sauté;
  • Add 2 cups of water;
  • Cover and let it boil;
  • In another container, add 1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of Moroccan couscous;
  • Add salt and pepper;
  • Mix;
  • When the liquids in the pan start to boil, transfer them to the Moroccan couscous;
  • Mix;
  • Cover and let rest for 5 minutes;
  • Loosen the grains with a fork;
  • Add the juice of 1 lemon;
  • Mix;
  • Add green smell;
