Allison Williams (M3GAN, Get Out, Girls, The Perfection) is already preparing his next project. It is a murder mystery officially titled, Kill Me, which will feature Williams as star and executive producer. His co-star will be the previously announced, Charlie Day (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Horrible Bosses).

According to reports from Deadline, the production company XYZ Films will present the screenwriter and director project Peter Warren (The author) to the Cannes 2024 market, in order to find a distributor.

Filming will take place later this year.

Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg produce for Dark Horse Entertainment, alongside Charlie Day and Peter Warren. Paul Schwake and Kasey Adler are executive producers. XYZ Films will finance it.

SYNOPSIS:

“Jimmy (Charlie Day) wakes up in a bathtub after attempting suicide. Or, at least, that's what it seems to his friends and family. Jimmy is pretty sure he didn't do it… Maybe. Along with Margot (Williams), the 911 operator who took his call, Jimmy sets out on a mission to solve a vital whodunnit: Did someone try to kill him, or are they chasing the specter of depression?

The writer and director, Peter Warren, shares in a statement to the press:

“We are thrilled to find in Allison not only an incredible actress to take on the role of Margot, but also a partner as passionate as we are about this brave debate about mental health and suicide, a topic that has touched all of our lives deeply. ”

Williams comes from being the protagonist and executive producer of the horror hit M3GANand is in production on the sequel M3GAN 2.0. Most recently, she starred in the acclaimed Showtime limited series, Fellow Travelersalongside Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey.
