Neve Campbell confirms her return for 'SCREAM 8'

Sidney Prescott will have a new confrontation with Ghostface in Scream 8the next installment in the slasher horror franchise.

Neve Campbell confirmed that she will reprise her iconic role as Scream Queen and Final Girl, Sidney Prescott, after Sidney survived her most recent encounter with the killers wearing the Ghostface mask in Scream 7.

The actress confirmed the news during an interview with the Associated Press, in which she promoted her role in the Netflix series, Black Doves. When talking about his next projects, Campbell commented:

“Scream 8. That is also underway.”

The actress preferred not to give detailed information about what Sidney will face this time:

“You know I can't tell you anything about Scream 8”Campbell said with a laugh. “I'll be in it.”
