To refresh your memory, we tell you that the 1993 horror comedy directed by Kenny Ortega, and, cataloged as one of the greatest cult classics, follows the trio of witches known as the Sanderson sisters, who wake up – after 300 years – after a young teenager accidentally resurrects them while exploring an abandoned house with his sister and her friend. Their magic returns to Salem, Massachusetts after three centuries, and they embark on a quest to devour the souls of all the little ones in town, but first they must adjust to a new world containing electricity and paved roads. Dani (Thora Birch), his older brother Max (Omri Katz), and his girlfriend Allison (Vinessa Shaw) escape from the Sanderson sisters. The sequel is said to follow a similar structure to its original.
Fletcher replaced Adam Shankman behind the scenes for the commitment he had with the filming of the sequel Disenchanted, although he remains as executive producer, along with Ralph Winter, and David Kirschner. Lynn Harris produces it.
