New poster for arthouse slasher 'In a Violent Nature'

The arthouse slasher marketing campaign In a Violent Naturefrom the screenwriter and director Chris Nash (The ABCs of Death 2), the study IFC Films and the streamer Shuddercontinues this day with the release of a good poster.

The feature film, which emerged as one of the most acclaimed at Sundance 2024, continues to prepare the audience for its theatrical release in May, which is why the studio's marketing campaign officially started at the end of Sundance at the end of last month January, and continues to release brief but effective glimpses into what it paints as a brutal horror project.

The plot of In a Violent Naturerevolves around “The enigmatic resurrection, rampage and retribution of an undead monster in a remote desert unleashes an iconic new killer.”

SYNOPSIS:

“When a reliquary is removed from a collapsed fire tower in the woods that entombs Johnny's rotting corpse, a vengeful spirit spurred by a horrible crime that occurred 60 years ago, resurrects his body and sets out to recover it. The undead golem zeroes in on the group of vacationing teenagers responsible for the theft and proceeds to methodically slaughter them one by one in its mission to recover it, along with anyone who stands in its way.”

The cast is headed by Ry Barrett, Andrea Pavlovic, Cameron Love, Reece Presley, Liam Leone, Charlotte Creaghan, Lea Rose Sebastianis, Sam Roulston, Alexander Oliver y Lauren Taylor.

IFC Films will release In a Violent Nature in theaters on May 31, 2024 (USA). In Mexico and the rest of Latin America we hope to find out about its distributor and launch.
