We already have the first full trailer of the long-awaited original series of HBO, Harry Potter.
The series reinvents JK Rowling's seven-novel saga into a multi-season drama series, introducing a new Harry, Hermione, Ron, Dumbledore, Snape, and all the other beloved characters, as well as a new Hogwarts.
HBO y HBO Max debuted the official trailer for the first season that adapts Rowling's first novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone for the English-speaking market, and Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone for the Spanish-speaking market.
By the way, each season the title of the series will change, to reflect the novel that is being adapted. The series also received an early renewal for a second season last May, which will adapt The secret chamber.
The series features Dominic McLaughlin like Harry, Arabella Stanton like Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout Like Ron Weasley.
Furthermore, we will have Nick Frost (trilogy Croissant) as Rubeus Hagrid, John Lithgow (Conclave, The Crown) as Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer (Ozark) like the Profesora Minerva McGonagall, Especially Essiedu (I May Destroy You, Black Doves) like the Profesor Severus Snape, Luke Thallon (Patriots) as Quirinus Quirrell, Paul Whitehouse (The Fast Show) as Argus Filch.
The trailer shows Harry, Ron and Hermione arriving at Hogwarts and going through the sorting ceremony, where they are all assigned to Gryffindor. Harry meets the Hogwarts staff—including Dumbledore, Snape, McGonagall, and Hagrid—while attending magic classes, such as Herbology and Potions, and trying out the aerial sport of Quidditch.
There is also the mystery of the Philosopher's Stone, which Harry, Ron and Hermione investigate. They come face to face with the fearsome mountain troll in the Hogwarts bathrooms, play a high-tension game of chess, and try out the Invisibility Cloak and the Mirror of Erised.

HBO describes it as:

Francesca Gardiner (Succession, Killing Eve, His Dark Materials) She is the screenwriter and showrunner of the series. Mark Mylod (Game of Thrones) is the director of several episodes and executive producer.
For the second season, it is added Jon Brown as coshowrunner. Brown was one of the writers of the first season.
Other executive producers include Rowling, Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley-Letts, and David Heyman. Brontë Film and TV and Warner Bros. Television produce.
Filming for the series took place at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the United Kingdom, where the film franchise based on Rowling's novels was filmed.
HBO has plans for the series to run for more than a decade.
The eight-episode first season premieres on December 25 on HBO and HBO Max.
