Ingredients
5 eggs
4 tablespoons of sugar
1 cup (tea) wheat flour (240 ml)
Directions
- Separate the yolks from the whites and beat only the whites in a mixer at maximum speed for approximately 2 minutes, until they double in volume.
Transfer the egg white mixture to another container and set aside. - In the mixer bowl add the yolks, sugar and beat until it also doubles in size and the yolks are clear.
Add the sifted flour and mix very well with a spoon or whisk.
Add the egg whites little by little and mix gently until smooth. - Grease a mold or baking dish with wheat flour and butter or margarine, pour the dough into it and bake the cake in a preheated oven at 200º₢ for about 40 to 45 minutes.
- Carefully remove the cake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
Develop if you prefer and the unleavened cake is ready for consumption.
