Prepare coffee to accompany this delicious yeast-free cake and guarantee a special snack!


  • 5 eggs

  • 4 tablespoons of sugar

  • 1 cup (tea) wheat flour (240 ml)


  • Separate the yolks from the whites and beat only the whites in a mixer at maximum speed for approximately 2 minutes, until they double in volume. 
    Transfer the egg white mixture to another container and set aside.
  • In the mixer bowl add the yolks, sugar and beat until it also doubles in size and the yolks are clear. 
    Add the sifted flour and mix very well with a spoon or whisk. 
    Add the egg whites little by little and mix gently until smooth.
  • Grease a mold or baking dish with wheat flour and butter or margarine, pour the dough into it and bake the cake in a preheated oven at 200º₢ for about 40 to 45 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the cake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. 
    Develop if you prefer and the unleavened cake is ready for consumption.
