This oatmeal cake recipe does not use wheat or milk and the result is a snack that everyone will want to repeat!


  • 4 bananas

  • 100 grams of raisins

  • 100 ml of coconut milk

  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup (tea) of fine oat bran

  • 1 teaspoon (coffee) baking powder

  • 1 tablespoon demerara sugar (optional)


  • Mash the peeled bananas on a plate and add the egg, sugar and mix well. 
    Add the coconut milk, raisins and fine oat bran. 
    Stir well, add the baking powder and stir again until homogenized.
  • Transfer the dough to a greased and floured shape, place in a preheated oven at 180º₢ and bake the cake for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool to room temperature. 
    Run a knife on the sides of the form to help when unmolding and the oatmeal cake can now be consumed.
