2 salmon fillets (skin-on)
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic (crushed)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme, optional)
Directions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the pan. Press lightly to keep the skin flat.
- Cook for about 4–5 minutes without moving, until the skin is crispy.
- Flip the salmon and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
