Ingredients
2 cups of cooked rice
3 eggs
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup of milk
1 tablespoon powdered yeast
1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)
Pinch of salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin with butter and flour.
- In a blender, add cooked rice, eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, milk, vanilla extract (if using) and salt.
Beat everything until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture. - Add the baking powder to the dough and mix gently with a spoon or spatula, just to incorporate.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 35 to 40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool before unmolding.
- Serve the rice cake in slices and enjoy!
