Traditionally, Oscar-nominated songs are performed during the gala, although this has not always been the case. Gosling himself refused to play “City of Stars”nominated and eventually won for original song, for the film La La Land. His place was taken by John Legend, who offered his version of the Oscar-winning song.
But this time, Gosling is determined to appear with all the “Kenergy” during the 96th edition of the award ceremony, Sunday March 10. Variety announced the news, although the Oscar Academy has not revealed Gosling's musical involvement.
