The result of this recipe is a tasty sardine pie and creamy dough!

Ingredients

  • Dough
  • 4 eggs

  • 2 cups (tea) milk

  • 1 cup (tea) wheat flour

  • 1 cup (tea) cornstarch

  • 1 cup (tea) of oil

  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 50 grams of grated Parmesan cheese

  • oregano to taste

  • Filling
  • 1 onion

  • 2 tomatoes

  • 3 cans of sardines

  • 150 grams of olive

  • Chopped green pepper to taste

Directions

  • Place the clean, chopped sardines without the oil in a container. 
    Add the chopped onion, tomatoes, olives and parsley, mix the ingredients well and set aside.
  • For the dough, add the eggs, cornstarch, wheat flour, salt, oil, baking powder and milk in a blender. 
    Beat for about 3 minutes and transfer half of the dough to a greased and sprinkled shape or refractory. 
    Then add the stuffing, spread it out and finish putting the rest of the dough on top.
  • Sprinkle grated cheese and oregano to taste on top. 
    Preheat the oven to 180₢ and bake the pie for approximately 30 to 40 minutes, or until golden on the outside and dry on the inside.
  • Carefully remove the sardine pie from the oven, let it cool down a bit at room temperature and serve the pieces to the size you prefer.
