Soft and tasty, this loaf of bread is a guarantee of a super yummy snack!


  • 500 grams of wheat flour (add more if necessary)

  • 250 ml of warm water

  • 10 grams of dry yeast for breads

  • 1 whole egg

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 2 tablespoons of sugar

  • 3 tablespoons of butter

  • 1 egg yolk mixed with 2 tablespoons of milk for brushing


  • In a bowl, place the warm water, yeast, sugar, salt, butter and mix well. 
    Add the wheat flour and mix until the dough is smooth and uniform. 
    Knead the dough on a smooth, floured surface (add more flour if necessary) until it no longer sticks to your hands.
  • Transfer the dough into a bowl, cover and set aside until it has doubled in size. 
    Then open the dough with a rolling pin, divide it into two parts or leave it whole to make just 1 large loaf.
  • Place the dough in a greased and floured loaf pan. 
    Brush the surface with the egg yolk and milk mixture, place in a preheated oven at 180º₢ and bake for between 35 and 45 minutes. 
    Spread butter on top if you prefer and the loaf is ready to serve.
