stillfilms «How Do I» – Dreampop and shoegaze have become something like indie mini-stream for many years now and many young bands pay homage to this wall of sound. As you know, my enthusiasm has waned somewhat, but there are still great songs from the genre that appeal to me. This is the case with the Californian band stillfilms, whose new EP “Souvenirs From Underground” was recently released and includes this fine track.
The Novembers «BOY» – This indie rock quartet comes from Japan and is reminiscent of British acts of a slightly louder variety. Their current self-titled album is absolutely worth listening to.
