These teriyaki mushrooms are packed with flavor and are a real treat for the palate.

Ingredients

  • 300 g mixed fresh mushrooms

  • 4 tablespoons teriyaki sauce

  • 5 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • Fresh thyme, to taste

Directions

  • Clean the mushrooms with a brush and a paper towel. Slice them to your preferred size.
  • Transfer the sliced mushrooms to a large skillet or wok. Add the olive oil and toss well to coat evenly.
  • Cook over high heat, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms begin to soften and release some of their moisture. Reduce the heat to medium.
  • Add the teriyaki sauce and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the sesame oil, mix well, and remove from the heat.
  • Garnish with fresh thyme to taste. Your teriyaki mushrooms are ready to serve.
