Warner Bros. has announced that pre-sales for the sci-fi thriller The End of Oak Street It is now available for screenings in US theaters.

The announcement comes accompanied by a new trailer and posters for all the premium formats in which the film will be shown, such as IMAX, ScreenX, 4DX. Take a look at all the material at the end of the note.

The film, which in our region is titled The end of Oak Streetis written and directed by David Robert Mitchell. It is Mitchell's first film project, since the release of the mystery comedy Under the Silver Lake (2028). Mitchell is also recognized for the acclaimed horror film It Follows (2014).

The plot follows the Platt family, headed by Anne Hathawayand for Ewan McGregorand that, “After a mysterious cosmic event rips Oak Street from its suburbs and transports its neighborhood to an unknown location, it suddenly discovers that its survival depends on staying together while adapting to its now unrecognizable environment.”

WB describes the film as “an exciting adventure set in the 80s”which will include creatures like dinosaurs. WB Co-Chairman and CEO Michael De Luca Compares It to an Episode of the Classic Series The Twilight Zone.

The cast also includes Maisy Stella (My Old Ass), Christian Convery (Sweet Tooth, Frankenstein), Jordan Alexa Davis (Defending Jacob), P.J. Byrne (The Boys), y Chris Coy (Black Rabbit).

Producers are JJ Abrams with Bad Robot Productions, Hannah Minghella, Jon Cohen, David Robert Mitchell, Matt Jackson and Tommy Harper. Executive producers are Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, Joanne Lee and Leeann Stonebreaker.

The behind-the-camera team includes Michael Gioulakis as director of photography, Maya Shimoguchi as production designer, John Axelrad as editor, the Oscar winner Michael Giacchino (Up) as composer of the soundtrack, and Erin Benach as a costume designer. Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute it worldwide.

Mitchell filmed in IMAXwith a Approximate budget of $85 million dollars. This summer, the filmmaker is scheduled to begin filming They Followsequel to It Followswith the return of Maika Monroe in the leading role.

The End of Oak Street, only in theaters and in IMAX on August 13, 2026 in Latin Americaand on August 14 in the United States.
