The demons found a way out of the Beyond (The Further), in the most recent sequel of the franchise Insidious.
The sixth installment, officially titled Insidious: Out of the Furthery The night of the devil: They are among us In our region, it is carried out by Amelia Eve (The Haunting of Bly Manor), with the return of Lin Shaye like Elise Rainer, who has appeared in all installments of the franchise.

The Further (or the Beyond) is a dangerous world inhabited by entities, which connects with our world through space and time. The Further has many “red doors” through which demonic entities arrive in our dimension.

The sixth installment is directed by Jacob Chase (Come Play), with a script co-written by Chase and David Leslie Johnson (Orphan, The Conjuring 2, The Conjuring: Last Rites).
Filming took place in Australia.
The feature film is produced by Jason Blum, Oren Peli, James Wan, and Leigh Whannell. Executive producers are Ryan Turek, Steven Schneider, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Johnson.
The sixth installment was launched after the surprising success achieved by Insidious: The Red Door (titled The Night of the Demon: The Red Door in our region), which became the highest-grossing installment of the saga, and the highest-grossing horror film of 2023 with more than $189 million in the global box office.
The franchise, created by James Wan and Leigh Whannell, started in 2011 with the first film directed by Wan. The sequels were later released Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), Insidious: Chapter 2 (2015), Insidious: The Last Key (2018), and the aforementioned, Insidious: The Red Door (2023).
The combined worldwide box office of all installments totals more than $740 million.
The plot of Insidious (The night of the demon in this market) revolves around supernatural entities that torment the living, in the case of the first two films, written by Whannell and directed by Wan, the tormented beings are the Lambert family (Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne). The entities come from the aforementioned Beyond. The family asks for the help of Elise Reiner (Lin Shaye) who is familiar with paranormal activities. Although the plots of the third and fourth presented as prequels moved away from the Lamberts, The Red Door returned the focus to the family and offered a note of finality as the family finally put the terror behind them.
Insidious: The Red Door It marked the closing of the Lamberts' story, although financial success “demanded” the studio's upcoming sixth film.
In addition to Out of the Furtherthe studio has a spinoff in development Thread: An Insidious Talestarring Mandy Moore and Kumail Nanjiani. This film does not have a release date yet.
Insidious: Out of the Further comes to cinemas on August 21, 2026.
