“Monsters don't just hide under the bed” warns us in the latest official poster for Abigailthe vampire project Radio Silence (The directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin y Tyler Gillettand the producer Chad Villella).

With a theatrical release date set for April 19, 2024, the studio Universal Pictures continues with the marketing campaign by releasing a poster that promotes the functions in Dolby Cinema format. The poster, which you find at the end of the note, is accompanied by the slogan “Children can be such monsters” in reference to the little protagonist of the film.

The plot revolves around a gang of criminals who kidnap a seemingly innocent dancing girl. Once kidnapped, the little girl reveals her true vampire nature.

The cast is headed by Melissa Barrera, marking for her a new collaboration with Radio Silence, after starring Scream 5 (2022) y Scream VI (2023), Dan Stevens (Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Gaslit), Alisha Weir (Matilda: The Musical), Kevin Durand (Swamp Thing, Ballers), Kathryn Newton (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Big Little Lies), Angus Cloud (Euphoria), Will Catlett (A Thousand and One), y Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Mandalorian).

The MPA (Motion Picture Association) gave Abigail an R Rating for:

“Strong bloody violence and gore everywhere, pervasive language and brief drug use.”

Bettinelli-Olpin y Gillett (Ready or Not, Scream 5, Scream VI) co-direct the script written by Stephen Shields (The Hole in the Ground, Zombie Bashers) y Guy Busick (Scream 5, Scream VI, Ready Or Not). Villella produces next to William Sherak, Paul Neinstein y James Vanderbilt of Project X Entertainment, and Tripp Vinson. Jay Polidoro, Holly Goline, Kelly Cannon and Jacqueline Garell oversaw the project on behalf of Universal.
