After it was announced last weekend, it will become reality this week at the latest: summer and sun greet each other in Leipzig – and that also means that the open-air season is now in full swing. Just in time, a new open-air space for non-commercial events, officially approved by the city of Leipzig, will be inaugurated today. And it can finally be used at night for the first time. Near the Messe S-Bahn station you can now celebrate not only until 10 p.m. as usual, but the whole thing goes on until 4 a.m. in the morning. So pack your champagne and don't forget your jackets – because it doesn't stay completely warm at night. For the premiere, four Leipzig collectives will be using the new space.
