Gather the ingredients for the wine sago and prepare this irresistible dessert today!


  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar

  • 2 cups of sago (sago)

  • 4 cups of mild red wine

  • 7 cups of water (tea)


  • In a bowl, place the sago and 3 cups of water. 
    Leave to soak for 15 minutes. 
    Drain the sago and transfer to a pan. 
    Add 1 cup of water and boil for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. 
    Remove the sago, drain and reserve.
  • Place the wine, 1 cup of water and the sugar in the empty pan. 
    Mix and let it boil for a few minutes. 
    Add the sago and mix well.
  • Let the sago cook until translucent. 
    Turn off the heat and wait for the candy to cool to room temperature.
  • Transfer the dessert to the fridge, leave for a few hours and the wine sago is ready to serve.
