Looking ahead to the start of filming reboot the the franchise Jurassic Worlda new installment launched by Universal Pictures last January, Scarlett Johansson confirmed his casting in this upcoming film.
On the occasion of the rom-com press tour Fly Me to the Moonco-starring Johansson and Channing Tatum, the actress spoke with ComicBook about the reasons for wanting to return to film franchises, after having been part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe:
“All. I am a big fan of Jurassic Park. It's one of the first movies I remember seeing in the cinema. I remember seeing it so vividly. It was like it changed my life. It was amazing. “I can’t express how excited I am.”
The reboot will be led by Gareth Edwards (The Creator, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Godzilla), from the script of David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park: The Lost World).
Regarding Koepp's writing work, Johansson advanced the source:
“The script is incredible. David Koepp wrote it. He came back after 30 years to write the script. He's so passionate about it, which is incredible.”
