'Now You See Me 3' sets theatrical release for November 2025

The third installment of the action-adventure franchise, Now You See Me of Lionsgate has already officially set its release in theaters.

The study revealed that Now You See Me 3 will premiere on the big screen November 14, 2025 (via Deadline).

The outlet reminds us that there is no other release planned for that date at the moment. Other releases for the month of November 2025 include Blade by Marvel, Bugonia by Yorgos Lanthimos, Zootopia 2y Wicked: Part Two.

The franchise centers around thieving magicians known as the Four Horsemen. While the plot of the third installment is currently under wraps, the film reintroduces audiences to the magicians while introducing a new generation of magicians. It has been described as a “reimagining.”

The series has grossed $687 million at the global box office.

The original cast members confirmed to return are Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Francoy Morgan FreemanNew additions to the franchise currently include Ariana Greenblatt (Barbie, Ahsoka, Borderlands), Justice Smith (I Saw the TV Glow), Dominic Sessa (The Holdovers) y Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl, Saltburn).

Ruben Fleischerdirector of the first installment, returns as director of The Illusionists 3.

Fleischer, known for titles such as Zombieland, Zombieland: Double Tap, Venom, y Unchartedwill direct the script written by Eric Warren Singer (Top Gun: Maverick, American Hustle), Seth Grahame-Smith y Mike Lesslie.

Bobby Cohen and Alex Kurtzman of Secret Hideout serve as producers.

In a recent interview, Eisenberg let slip the possible title of the third installment, saying: “When I read this new script for Now You See Me, or Now You 3 Me as we've been calling it (I'm going to get in trouble for that)“I'm like, 'Oh wow, these actors that I'm friends with, all of them great actors, are going to be so much fun in this. ' I love acting more than anything because that's my job. So when I see a movie that's more of a Hollywood plot, I don't really care that much about that stuff. But when I see that it's full of these great actors, I get really excited.”
