This morning, Apple TV+ revealed the official trailer for the second season of the sci-fi drama Siloin which we see the return of Rebecca Ferguson ready to unravel all the mysteries of the place.
The second season, made up of 10 episodes, premieres the first episode on Friday, November 15. The episode release strategy will continue to be weekly.
The series created by Graham Yost (Band of Brothers) is based on the best-selling novels by Hugh Howey (Wool, Shift, Dust). The plot focuses on an intense search for the truth in a post-apocalyptic environment. The series is a drama about class and survival in an inhospitable world.
The story itself revolves around Earth's last 10,000 inhabitants, who inhabit a miles-deep silo bunker several years after a catastrophic event has rendered the Earth's surface uninhabitable. No one knows for sure why, or who built the bunker in the first place, and the tension between that mystery and the apparent horrors of the outside world forms the catalyst for what appears to be a dispute between the bunker's lower castes and their leaders.
The star and executive producer, Ferguson (Dune, Doctor Sleep, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One) plays Juliette, an engineer searching for answers about the death of a loved one that leads her to discover a mystery beyond anything she could have previously imagined.
The trailer shows Juliette venturing into the ruins of a post-apocalyptic world beyond the silo, where an uprising is brewing against its leader Bernard Holland (Tim Robbins).

The cast features the returns of Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie e Iain Glen. Steve Zahn (The White Lotus, George & Tammy) joins season two.
