'Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair': Epic 4-hour version of 'Kill Bill' reveals trailer and premiere

Lionsgate revealed the official trailer for Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affaira film that combines for the first time Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) y Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004) Quentin Tarantino in one, and it promises to be a brutal bloody experience.

The film also includes a new, unreleased 7-minute anime sequence.

will have a duration of 281 minutesand will include a 15 minute intermission.

EYE ON THE DATA: The release is confirmed for American theaters. There is no information about a possible release in Latin American theaters.

KILL BILL: THE WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR by Quentin Tarantino brings together volumes 1 and 2 into a single unrated epic, presented just as he intended, including a new, never-before-seen anime sequence. Uma Thurman plays The Bride, presumed dead after her former boss and lover, Bill (David Carradine), burst into her wedding rehearsal, shot her in the head, and stole her unborn daughter. To enact his revenge, he must first hunt down the four remaining members of the Lethal Viper Kill Squad before confronting Bill himself. With its operatic magnitude, relentless action and iconic style, THE WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR stands as one of cinema's definitive revenge sagas, rarely screened in its entirety and now presented with a classic intermission.

It stars Thurman, Carradine, Lucy Liu, Vivica A. Fox, Michael Madsen, Daryl Hannah, Gordon Liu, Michael Parks.

For years, Tarantino has talked about the possibility of making Kill Bill Vol. 3picking up the plot two decades later, and inviting Maya Hawke, Thurman's daughter, to play The Bride's daughter, BB Kiddo. This was what he declared during the promotional tour of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in 2019:

“I think it's just revisiting the characters twenty years later and imagining The Bride and her daughter, Bebe, having 20 years of peace, and then that peace is broken. And now The Bride and Bebe are on the run and the thought of being able to choose Uma [Thurman] and his daughter Maya [Hawke] It would be fucking exciting. I mean, Elle Driver [Daryl Hannah] It's still there, Sophie Fatale [Julie Dreyfus] They cut off his arm, but it's still there. They all got Bill's money. Gogo had a twin sister, Shiaki, so her twin sister could appear.”

Tarantino plans to retire as a director with the making of his tenth film, meaning he has one more film left to make.

It has not yet been announced what the tenth and final project in his filmography will be.
