Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup white sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until creamy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto the tray, leaving space between each.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.
