Let's prepare the midnight margaritas, the witches are back!
Warner Bros. revealed the official trailer teaser of Practical Magic 2officially titled in our region as Love spell: The magic continues.
This is the teaser shown at CinemaCon 2026 last week, which is now finally shared to the public.
The Oscar winners, Sandra Bullock y Nicole Kidmanreturn as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens, respectively. The plot returns us to a world wrapped in moonlight mischief and powerful ancient magic. In this must-see cinematic event, full of fun, mysticism and chaos, the Owens sisters must face the dark curse that threatens to destroy their family once and for all.

The sequel is directed by Susanne Bier (Bird Box), and script written by Akiva Goldsman –who co-wrote the original– and Georgia Pritchett (Succession).
Bullock, Kidman, Dianne Wiest y Stockard Channing reprise their roles from the first installment, while new faces include Joey King (Bullet Train, The Kissing Booth), Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) –playing Bullock's daughters–, Lee Pace (Foundation), Xolo Maridueña (Blue Beetle), y Solly McLeod (The Dead Don’t Hurt).
The original 1998 film, love spellfollows two sisters, Sally (Bullock) and Gillian Owens (Kidman), who come from a long line of witches. Orphaned at a young age, they are raised by their eccentric aunts (played by Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest), who embrace their magical heritage. However, the Owens family is cursed: any man who falls in love with an Owens woman is doomed to an early death.
Sally and Gillian struggle with their powers and the consequences of the family curse. Sally tries to lead a normal life, distancing herself from magic, but tragedy strikes when her husband dies. Gillian, on the other hand, lives a wild life and takes advantage of her magical abilities. The sisters become involved in an event where they fight to break the family curse.
The screenplay was adapted from the 1995 novel by Alice Hoffman.
The sequel is produced by Bullock and Kidman, and Denise Di Novi, producer of the original. Executive producers are Andrew Kosove, Broderick Johnson, Donald Sabourin, and author Alice Hoffman.
The project marks a new collaboration between Bier and his protagonists; Bier directed Bullock in the horror thriller, Bird Boxfrom Netflix, and Kidman in the series The Undoing from HBO and The Perfect Couple the Netflix.
WB is scheduled to premiere Practical Magic 2 in cinemas for on September 10 in Latin America, and on September 11 in the United States.
