Make apple jam is very easy and results in a tasty spread that is perfect for bread, toast, and crackers.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg apples (before peeling)

  • 50 ml vinegar

  • 500 g sugar

Directions

  • Thoroughly blend the peeled and chopped apples using a food processor or hand blender.
  • Add the blended apples, sugar, and vinegar to a saucepan.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and reaches a jam-like consistency.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the jam cool, either in the refrigerator or at room temperature.
  • Enjoy the jam as desired, and store it in the refrigerator before and after serving.
