she’s green «locket» – the YouTube algorithm knows me pretty well by now, because I'm constantly (daily) suggested good new music that I would probably have missed otherwise. Mostly from Japan or Asia, but recently also the American quintet she's green from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The band has released several singles and EPs since 2022. Their sound is classic shoegaze with some extra ethereal moments, as can be heard in the current song.
Nabi «Insect Dream» – my inclination towards indie music and tracking down small bands has not diminished since Japan. I keep discovering completely new acts that give me hope for bigger things. This also applies to the band Nabi, who have only released 5 songs so far. Partly downright classic indie guitar pop, sometimes more pop. Since I don't know anything else about them other than they're a trio, I'll just leave it at their current single.
