Ploho “panel buildings” – even if the lyrics of this song are sung in German, the band behind it comes from far-off Novosibirsk. Their sound is pleasantly somber and settled somewhere in the vast universe of post-punk. Their album «Phantom Feelings» was released last year, which I unfortunately didn’t notice at the time (an omission that I will of course make up for now).
Ada «25 or 6 to 4» – This song (a cover version of a Chocago song) by the Cologne singer Ada aka Michaela Dippels is completely different. The sonic background has a bossa nova touch to it, and overall the atmosphere feels a bit lost and lost, which the clip fits.
