In 2007, the filmmaker Eli Roth believe Thanksgiving like a fake trailer for the movie Grindhouse by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodríguez, and now, after 16 years of rumors, the fake trailer comes true with Thanksgiving becoming a feature film that this day presented its first official trailer, in the Red Band trailer version via TriStar Pictures y Spyglass Media Group.
The deranged Christmas slasher set in the present tense in Plymouth, Massachusetts, features a gory trailer, signaling a return to Roth’s “gore” roots. As in the teaser trailer released in September, the aesthetics of Grindhouse It is not present in the trailer, but it does integrate some of Roth’s elements.

The film follows a serial killer who dices up the residents of Plymouth one by one during the Thanksgiving holiday.
The cast is headed by Patrick Dempsey y Addison Raecon Gina Gershon (Chucky), Milo Manheim (Zombies), Rick Hoffman (Hostel), Tim Dillon, Jalen Thomas Brooks (Walker), Nell Verlaque (Big Shot), Gabriel Davenport, Tomaso Sanelli, Karen Cliche y Jenna Warren.

Roth y Jeff Rendell they wrote the script. Spyglass produces the film, along with Roth and Roger Birnbaum.
Filming of the feature film ended in January 2023. Its release date Theatrical release is set for November 17 in the US, and November 30 in Mexico.
