This week’s big theatrical release is the historic mystery thriller Killers of the Flower Moon of Martin Scorsesewhich is available in movie theaters in the country and the world, continues to release material from its marketing campaign by presenting a pair of character posters, with glimpses focused on Leonardo DiCaprio y Lily Gladstone (Certain Women, First Cow, Billions).

Killers of the Flower Moontitled The Moon Killers in our country, is based on the best-selling novel of the same name written by David Grann, whose plot –inspired by true events– It is set in the 1920s, and tells how A series of oil murders of Native American tribesmen of the Osage Nation in Oklahoma emerged as one of the first major homicide investigations by the newly created FBI.
The film is being released in the last quarter of the year, a space that is mostly reserved for the premieres of film productions that will play an important part in the 2023-24 awards ceremonies.
The project marks the latest collaboration between Scorsese and two of his muses: DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. The cast is completed Jesse Plemons, Brendan Fraser, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, Jillian Dion, y Tantoo Cardinal.
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
“In 1920s Oklahoma, the Osage Nation were the richest people per capita in the world, after oil was discovered beneath their lands. And then they were killed, one by one. As the death toll mounted, the newly formed FBI took up the case and unraveled a chilling conspiracy and one of the most monstrous crimes in American history.”
The script was written by Oscar winner, Eric Roth (Forrest Gump, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, A Star is Born, Dune).

Production is a Apple Original Films which will be distributed by Paramount Pictures in theaters globally under wide release starting October 20, 2023. Posteriorly will launch on the Apple TV+ streamer worldwide.
