Apple TV+ already revealed the first teaser trailer of Siloa new 10-episode sci-fi drama that offers audiences a glimpse into the plot leading up to its protagonist, Rebecca Ferguson (Dune, Doctor Sleep, Mission: Impossible – Fallout) to a dystopian world.

With the premiere of the first two episodes set for May 5, 2023, Apple releases the teaser that tempts what appears to be a tense drama about class and survival in an inhospitable world. The series created by Graham Yost (Band of Brothers) is based on the bestselling novels written by Hugh Howey (Wool, Shift, Dust).

The series centers on the last 10,000 inhabitants of Earth, who inhabit a miles-deep silo bunker several years after a catastrophic event has rendered the Earth’s surface uninhabitable. No one knows for sure for what reason, or who built the bunker in the first place, and the tension between that mystery and the apparent horrors of the outside world forms the catalyst for what appears to be a feud between the lower castes in the bunker and their leaders.

Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer searching for answers about the death of a loved one that leads her to uncover a mystery beyond anything she could have previously imagined.

The great supporting cast includes talent like Common (John Wick: Chapter 2), Harriet Walter (Succession), Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, David Oyelowo (Selma), Rashida Jones (The Office, Parks and Recreation), y Tim Robbins (Mystic River).

Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game, Passengers) directs the first three episodes of the Apple Original limited series.
