This cheese and olive pâté is perfect to enjoy with bread, crackers, toast and much more.

Ingredients

  • 200g feta cheese

  • 60g sliced olives

  • 2 tablespoons filtered water

  • 5 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 head of garlic

  • Thyme to taste

Directions

  • Drizzle a little olive oil over the feta cheese placed in a baking dish. Add the sliced olives and the garlic cloves around the cheese.
  • Add thyme to taste and drizzle a little more olive oil over the ingredients. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 45 minutes.
  • Remove the thyme sprigs and transfer the cheese, olives, and garlic to a food processor or another container if using a hand blender.
  • Add the water and blend the ingredients until a smooth and creamy paste forms. The pâté is ready to serve.
