Ingredients
Chickpeas 1/2 packet (250g)
Lemon or vinegar a few drops
1 piece chopped seedless tomato
1/2 piece chopped red onion
1/2 piece chopped yellow pepper
1/2 piece grated carrot
1/3 cup (80 mL) olive oil
Vinegar or lemon juice 2 tbsp (30 mL)
salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
chopped green pepper to taste
Directions
- Wash 1/2 pack chickpeas (250g) under running water;
- Add drops of lemon or vinegar;
- Cover with water;
- Cover and leave in the fridge for 8 to 12 hours;
- Discard the water;
- Place the chickpeas in a pressure cooker and cover with water;
- Cook under pressure for 5 to 10 minutes;
- Transfer the chickpeas to a platter;
- Add chopped seedless tomato 1 unit;
- Add 1/2 piece of chopped red onion;
- Add 1/2 piece chopped yellow pepper;
- Add 1/2 piece grated carrot;
- Add chopped green smell to taste;
- Mix;
- In a bowl, mix 1/3 cup (80 mL) Olive Oil with 2 Tbsp (30 mL) Vinegar or Lemon Juice, Salt and Black Pepper to taste;
- Add over the salad;
- Mix well;
- Your chickpea salad is ready!
