Earlier this year, news broke that Vince Vaughn was returning to Dodgeball 2, a direct sequel to the 2004 comedy. Although production is about to begin, virtually nothing has been revealed about the film other than Vaughn’s return. One thing is for sure: if Chuck Norris has his way, he’ll be back for another cameo.
During a recent appearance at Nashville Comic Con, Norris was asked if he was going to be in the sequel.
“They haven’t called me yet, but it would be very fun to reappear“said the star during his speech at the event.
In the first movie, Norris makes a cameo appearance as a judge. in the dodgeball tournament. It’s not necessarily a spinoff-worthy role, but the actor was arguably at the height of popularity for him as a meme at the time of the film’s release.
The project is still in the early stages of development, and the producers have plenty of time to re-invite norris to the party. It would be a shame if they didn’t take the opportunity to use Norris again.
